Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu continues rapid rise in Springbok points list

Thanks to his 28-point haul against Wales at the Principality Stadium on Saturday, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has continued his rapid climb up the Springboks’ all-time Test points scorers list.

Feinberg-Mngomezulu, 23 played a key role South Africa’s record 73-0 win over the Welsh in Cardiff.

His 28 points came via two tries, and nine conversions.

Next opportunity

The former Bishops pupil entered the match on 144 career Test points after 18 Tests – at an average of 8 points per match. That had placed him 19th in terms of points scored in the green and gold jersey.

Come the final whistle, Feinberg-Mngomezulu had moved to 172 Test points scored and into 11th place overall at an new average of 9.05 points per outing.

He’s now just nine points behind former Springbok flyhalf Jannie de Beer (181 points in 13 Tests).

Thanks to his brace of tries against Wales, Feinberg-Mngomezulu is now the all-time leading Springbok flyhalf try scorer (with 9).

Feinberg-Mngomezulu won’t get the chance to add to his points tally until the new Nations Championships in mid-2026.
