The agency will redevelop the George Avenue retailer in Richmond giving it an extra prime ground and lengthening the basement for a swimming pool.
The grade II-listed retailer was initially constructed within the Sixties and has been empty since September 2020 when Home of Fraser ceased buying and selling.
Henry Courtier, of planing marketing consultant Pegasus Group, mentioned: “We’re extraordinarily happy to have secured planning consent for this outstanding city centre constructing within the coronary heart of Richmond.
“It provides an excellent alternative to convey again into use a key constructing that has been empty for greater than two years.”
The developer is now beginning work having already secured occupational curiosity from a number of operators, and it’s anticipated that the basement and first ground can be occupied by personal gyms, with the bottom ground being retail and a restaurant.
Workplaces would occupy flooring two and three, whereas one other restaurant would transfer to the fourth ground.
