The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has launched a Company Social Duty (CSR) Unit to spearhead impactful applications underneath its newly-introduced “Customs-Cares” initiative.
This initiative goals to deepen group engagement and nationwide growth.
The Customs-Cares program will drive key social interventions, together with faculty renovations, activation of cellular clinics, provision of meals and medical support, agricultural assist, abilities acquisition applications and youth empowerment.

This growth marks a shift past the Service’s conventional mandates of commerce facilitation, income era and border safety, whereas reinforcing its dedication to nationwide progress.
In line with Abdullahi Maiwada, Assistant Comptroller of Customs and Nationwide Public Relations Officer of the company, the CSR Unit will collaborate with authorities companies, non-public sector companions, NGOs, and native communities to make sure the success of those applications.
Underneath the management of Comptroller-Basic Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, the initiative aligns with Presidential Precedence Areas and seeks to enhance President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
