BREAKING: Senator Wamakko Hosts Sokoto Governor, Deputy, Others for Iftar at His Country Home [Photos]

According to a media post by Senator Wamakko on Thursday, 19 March 2026, the gathering marked his 29th Ramadan iftar, sustaining over two decades of hosting dignitaries, associates, and residents during the holy month.

The event was attended by the Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmad Aliyu, alongside his deputy, Idris Muhammad Gobir.

Also present were the Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Tukur Bala Bodinga, his deputy, members of the House of Representatives, and lawmakers from the State Assembly.

The Minister of Works and several prominent sons of the state were equally in attendance.

A special prayer session was led by Yahuza Shehu Tambuwal and other clerics, offering prayers for peace, unity, and prosperity.

Senator Wamakko urged continued prayers for Sokoto State and Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of unity and devotion during Ramadan.
