Jan. 10 (UPI) — SpaceX on Friday launched 21 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit with a Falcon 9 rocket whose reusable first stage took half in a file twenty fifth mission.

Among the many 21 satellites that lifted off from House Launch Complicated 40 at Cape Canaveral House Power Station in Florida have been 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities, SpaceX stated.

“The Starlink Direct to Cell constellation now has 400 satellites to allow ubiquitous entry to texting, calling, and searching all over the world, eliminating lifeless zones throughout land, lakes, or coastal waters,” the corporate stated.

Shortly after Friday’s launch, the record-breaking booster landed on the Simply Learn the Directions drone ship within the Atlantic Ocean.

It had flown on 24 earlier missions, together with CRS-22, CRS-25, Crew-3, Crew-4, TelkomSat-113BT, Turksat-5B, Koreasat-6A, Eutelsat HOTBIRD-F2, Galileo L13, mPOWER-A, PSN MFS, and 13 earlier Starlink flights.

SpaceX touted the accomplishments of the only Falcon rocket for its participation in 4 Dragon missions, through which eight astronauts have been transported to the Worldwide House Station, and in delivering greater than 430 spacecraft to orbit throughout the previous 4 years.
