  1. It’s always fun to read comments and see so many people talk like the Plebians in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar; always supporting the last speaker without even knowing the fact of the matter.

Senator Natasha was invited to appear before the House Committee on Ethics…. A court injunction was served to the committee to discontinue any further investigation on Natasha pending the determination of a law suit that was before the court. This was the reason Natasha failed to appear before the committee in the first place. But the committee disregarded the court order and went on to accuse her of refusing to appear before it. In her absence they judged her and found her guilty and suggested a six months suspension. I’m not in a position to say if she is guilty or not concerning what she is being accused of. What I’m saying is that the procedure they followed in arriving at their verdict is illegal and cannot stand. Secondly, even if she were guilty of violating the House rules, the highest number of days she can be suspended is 14 legislative days, according to the same rules.
You can see why many people think the sexual harassment allegation has got the Pro Akpabio supporters so angry to the point that they are prescribing punishment beyond their power to prescribe.

  2. She should be permanently suspended. What did she think the IPU will do? She’s brought shame to the entire country. What are the facts of the sexual harassment? Did the man touch her or make passes at her? What is her complaint exactly? Drama drama drama. Avoid Dramatic women

  3. Damage control. The committee hurriedly sat to perpetrate acts of impunity. The sexual harassment allegation was swept aside as Dead on Arrival.

  4. In the pastbother senators who break the house rules weren’t given suspension like they did to San. Natasha’s.

San. Akpabio did similar act during the period when Senator Saraki was the Senate president, also Senator (Mrs) Tinubu then did act that break their rules and no suspension was given to her non Sen. Akpabio.

The suspension of Senator Natasha was given to distract attention, it’s a pity.

  5. The man who was disbarred in the US for corruption & lack of ethics. Is the one heading the senates ethics committee. When una go stop to play & stop or reduce your cruise? Dey whine yourselves.

  6. You people are all corrupted,
Why not investigate on the allegations, we don’t care about her suspension but investigate the allegations naah
