On the rented bike for the cycling athletes, the minister explanation sound not plausible. I doubt if IOC will just award slots to a nation that wasn’t slated for the competition just on the day the Olympics game is starting. Assuming Nigeria had prepared for one athlete as the minister claimed where do they get the 2 extra athletes to compete for the ‘sudden’ slots because under normal circumstances they are expected to go with only the single qualifed cycling athlete. We need to hear from IOC before we can conclude on this matter.
