NPFL: Afrinvest gifts Rangers fans tickets, jerseys ahead of Ikorodu City clash

Afrinvest West Africa has rolled out over 300 free match tickets, jerseys and other gift items to encourage fan support for Rangers International ahead of their final-day Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash against Ikorodu City on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

The decisive fixture will take place at the 10,000-capacity Mobolaji Johnson Arena, formerly known as Onikan Stadium, on Lagos Island.

According to Afrinvest Group Managing Director, Ike Chioke, the initiative includes 300 free match tickets, 200 jerseys and special gift items for the first 100 Rangers supporters to arrive at the stadium on match day.

“The gifts include 300 tickets, 200 jerseys, and special gift items for the first 100 Rangers FC fans to arrive at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on match day,” Chioke said.

“All one needs to do is sign up on the link provided by Afrinvest and arrive at the match venue at least one hour before kickoff.”

Chioke also urged Rangers supporters in Lagos and neighbouring states to come out in large numbers to support the Enugu-based club.

He described Rangers as one of Nigeria’s most historic football institutions, producing legends such as Emmanuel Okala, Christian Chukwu, Adokiye Amiesimaka, Aloysius Atuegbu, Jay-Jay Okocha, John Utaka and Onyekachi Apam.

Afrinvest signed a three-year partnership agreement with Rangers in October 2023 aimed at improving the club’s administration, medical structure and player welfare.

The impact of the partnership was immediate as Rangers went on to win the 2023/24 NPFL title, their first league triumph since 2016.

Rangers currently top the NPFL table with 65 points and have already secured qualification for the CAF Champions League for the second time since the partnership began.

Victory against Ikorodu City would hand Rangers a record-extending ninth Nigerian league title regardless of results from other fixtures.

Fans interested in the initiative are required to register through Afrinvest’s official sign-up link before attending the match.
