Why do we liker to waste time? DICON can never and will never produce advanced heavy and light military equipment for our military. DICON is not a military industrial complex. It is just a Nigerian government owned company that can produce basic weapons like rifles, bullets, pistols etc. Highly competitive research based military business concerns are the only ones that build advanced weaponry. As long as Nigerian government is not in any military hardware development partnership with countries with common military interests, and as long as there exists no research bodies on weapons development and creation of the military/security production subsector of Nigerian industries, we should forget any serious advancement in military productions.
From history, I learnt that Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Brazil established their Defence Industries the same year, today its Brazilian counterpart produced various types of military hardwares while Nigeria’s keep running at a spot. I want to believe the industry is been hindered by the backwardness of northern part of Nigeria 🇳🇬 where the industry is located.
Recommendation: federal government should decentralised the industry. Let each Geo-political zones have its own defence industry sponsored by the federal government, by so doing there will be a stiff competition between all, by then there will be massive improvement. Shalom 🙏🏼

My conclusion from this interview is that almost every sector of the Nigerian state has gone into complete decay before this current administration came into power. It is the gov’t of PBAT that is now trying to revamp almost every sectors. Before now we were not hearing much about some of these sectors.
