Seun you are part of the problem of this country and you are a disgrace giving people like this that are failures a platform to talk rubbish on your useless show
I read the comments from many of our youth to this elderly man educative explanation on election e transmission issue and I cry for the damage we have done to our youths. It’s quite unfortunate that we now have bunch of ignorant and poorly educated youths. The man was trying to explain that there’s no way you can have e transmission of results when the election itself is manual and moreso in a country where 70% of electorates live in poor rural areas with poor internet connectivity. Let me do some education here. When you have e voting the results is automatically transmitted and would be adding automatically as vote comes in real time. Even this scenario is not common in most advanced countries where their internet connectivity is superb. Now let’s come to Nigeria I think what many are calling e transmission is uploading of scanned manually collated polling results and not e transmission per see although both use electronic and computer device. Let’s even assume we successfully uploaded all the results at polling units to the INEC IREV real portal in real time we would still have to collate the results manually at the ward, LGA, State and national before winner can be declared so what’s the fuss about. This is the fundamental issue the man was trying to explain but only for uncultured and badly educated ones to be abusing and insulting the man.
When they want to achieve result, they look for young brains but when they want to manipulate things, they look for old foolish men to use…. they want to tax Nigerians, they brought in Oyedele to help them rip us of our sweats…
Until Nigerians storm the National Assembly like it happened in Kenya and treat this optional transmission of results real-time as treasonable against Nigeria. The anti-democratic vultures in the National Assembly wont learn and bulge. If there are no network, get agents to follow the device to a nearby location with data network to upload…INEC can ask telcos to make light provisions for network in those polling areas. These excuses arent tenable enough with AI doing alot in the banking and telecoms already. The manual is easily manipulated meant for these old thieves. You have 30governors which shows Nigeria is working. Allow the process of transmission compulsory so Nigerians can show you how the APC is working!!!
Thank God this BABA in no more INEC official .His only fear is cyber attack , Most important company has a world class hacker to protect their companies from cyber attack . If Kenya, South Africa can transmit their result live why can’t Nigeria ? One politicians stolen money can take care of all this election wahala . This old man should not tell us about how the internet works. Banks uses internet or server abi ?
