I think there is some confusion about exactly where the pole was supported on the chairs. The witness said it was supported between the backrests of the chairs. If supported on the top of the backrests, it could very well be possible to swing a person who is suspended as described. The judge seems to think it was supported at the bottom of the backrest, where it meets the seat. I think they should ask the witness to indicate on the chair exactly where the pole was supported. There was also a long discussion between the judge and the prosecutor about this in English, which was not translated. I suspect the witness didn’t follow this. Hopefully the defence will pick up on this tomorrow.
