The general public has been given a glimpse into the brand new US houses being occupied by Afrikaner “refugees”. And in line with South Africans on social media, it’s fairly “primary” compared to their lives again dwelling.
Earlier this month, 49 white South Africans arrived within the US underneath President Donald Trump’s resettlement programme.
Extra have signed up for the programme, which is open to all “racial minorities” in SA.
INSIDE AFRIKANER REFUGEE HOMES
In a clip posted by Lifting Palms Worldwide, an NGO that helps resettle refugees, the general public was given a glimpse at a house being ready for an Afrikaner household.
The home relies in Utah, which is considered one of a number of states that may rehome the “persecuted” minority.
Within the clip, the NGO reveals the way it plans to offer the household with dwelling provides like furnishings, meals, bedding, and even used toys and books for the kids.
Anne Perkins, the Refugee Resettlement Supervisor, stated: “It’s simply the fundamentals”.
Perkins said that many different organisations had donated clothes to the refugees, which might be hung up within the cabinets.
“We wish to put clothes within the cabinets, so when these youngsters arrive, they are often enthusiastic about beginning their new life right here. And we hope that this offers them the message that they’re welcome.

Whereas the NGO is getting ready houses for refugees who usually are thought of impoverished, reviews have indicated that most of the “Afrikaner refugees” come from privileged backgrounds in South Africa.

On social media, many South Africans had been not sure if the brand new US houses would match the usual.
