I have seen that champagne glass thing happen in real life. It wasn’t as dramatic with a loud noise, just a customer tapping politely on the shoulder of the waiter. The waiter turned very quickly and all the glasses went flying. I guess physics won that round. Inertia is something not to be ignored.
