Same goes for Domestic workers. My girlfriend is getting such a small salary. R250 per day. Breadline. But now she loses more. Increase VAT to 20%. Then take income tax to 10% max. That will mean that all the taxi businesses that have cash businesses, millions of taxis on the road, will in the end pay their taxes at last. And make any income under R10000 tax free per month. We will generate double what we have now because tax evasion will be history.
