Probably, he may be using Makinde to reduce Wike’s relevance in PDP, while empowering Fubara to cripple Wike’s relevance in Rivers State simultaneously. This boxed-in strategy is deliberately done in order to put Wike in a tight corner and force him to run into APC party where he will be fully humbled and have no choice but to fully depend on Tinubu for everything, since Tinubu now has full control of PDP and Rivers State without any need of Wike, whom APC now disclaims due to his disruptive tendencies and arrogance of having a selfmade/independent political structure of which not even Tinubu can control.
