Bolaji Abdullahi, you are totally a novice as to how politics works and the expectations of the voters. During the 2023 elections, you were running your mouth in different directions. The opposition party in Nigeria, as seen from far off across the Atlantic, has been fantastic in their criticism of the ruling party, which is expected, but what they have not been able to perfect themselves in is providing solutions or alternatives to policies being implemented by the current administration. They have always shortchanged the voters, the dividend of democracy, under the pretence that they are not the ruling party. Who wants to hear that after voting for someone to be elected? If the opposition parties go into the 2027 elections based on candidates without evidence of how successfully they were in tackling non-political national crises like the insecurity, they will simply be booed. There non- non-APC elected officials from different political parties today, such as governors, national and state representatives, who promised the voters one thing or the other during the 2023 elections. They should be able to show how well they did from 2023-2027. Past failed politicians have always reappeared as if they have been born again, and they are now with new energy and ideas to change the country. The APC did the same thing. Now we have ADC with some of the pioneers of APC coming as the right Messiah in the 2027 elections. Now, who is the fool, the politicians or the voters? The best way to get around this superiority is for all elected officials to fulfill the promises made to the voters when elected. The president is not the only elected person during general elections.
