The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has denied that its officers are liable for the assault on the Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, on Sunday.

Bello alleged there was an assassination try on him just a few kilometers away from Abuja.

The governor was on his method to an official engagement from Lokoja, the state capital.
