The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a complete sum of N655.932 billion to the three tiers of presidency as federation allocation for the month of April 2023.


The Federal Authorities acquired N248.809 billion, the State Governments acquired N218.307 billion, whereas the Native Authorities Councils acquired N160.600 billion.

The FAAC famous that the N655.932 billion whole distributable income comprised distributable statutory income of N364.654 billion, distributable Worth Added Tax (VAT) income of N202.762 billion, Digital Cash Switch Levy (EMTL) of N14.516 billion, N50 billion augmentation from Foreign exchange Equalization income, and N24 billion augmentation from the non-mineral income.


It disclosed that in April 2023, the full deductions for price of assortment was N28.108 billion, whereas the full deductions for transfers and refunds was N120.287 billion.

“The entire income of N50.000 billion from Foreign exchange Equalization was shared thus: the Federal Authorities acquired N22.916 billion, the State Governments acquired N11.623 billion, the Native Authorities Councils acquired N8.961 billion and the sum of N6.500 billion was shared to the related States as 13 p.c mineral income.


“From the N24.000 billion Non-mineral income, the Federal Authorities acquired N12.643 billion, the State Governments acquired N6.413 billion and the Native Authorities Councils acquired N4.944 billion.”


The FAAC acknowledged that the Petroleum Revenue Tax (PPT), Corporations Revenue Tax (CIT), Oil and Gasoline Royalties, Import and Excise Duties, and Worth Added Tax (VAT) decreased significantly, noting that solely Digital Cash Switch Levy (EMTL) elevated albeit marginally.
