A yet-to-be recognized police officer with Mopol 8 Jos, Plateau State is reported to have allegedly shot a younger man on Sunday, The PUNCH gathered.

The sufferer, recognized as Nyommena Badapba, a resident on the Tudun Wada neighborhood was shot in his shoulder shortly after an argument with the policeman.

A resident of Tudun Wada neighborhood who witnessed the capturing confirmed the incident to The PUNCH in Jos on Sunday.

In keeping with him, the police officer and the younger man have been engaged in a political argument on who will win the governorship election within the state.

The witness mentioned, “The policeman was castigating the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda.

“When the argument turned heated, the younger man was suggested to finish the dialog and he left for his home.”
