Philip Doodoo, a homeless Ghanaian man within the UK, has been jailed after attacking two docs of Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry in addition to a police officer.

Doodoo, of Letterkenny, was jailed for 2 months after pleading responsible to a few counts of assault and extra fees of disorderly behaviour prison harm.

In line with prosecutors, police had been known as to the scene after Doodoo exhibited aggressive behaviour on the Accident and Emergency (A&E) warfare of Altnagelvin Hospital, positioned in Derry, Northern Eire, on January twenty ninth.

He was reportedly being ‘verbally aggressive’ and wandering round an space he had been requested to not.

The Ghanaian approached one physician and pushed him along with his chest and demanded ‘what are you going to do about it?’

Doodoo then kicked at a medical crash cart, which has been described as a ‘important piece of kit’.

He known as the police ‘muppets‘ once they tried to restrain him then he shoulder-charged an officer!

One other member of the medical workers was lunged at by Doodoo, placing her in worry for her life.

In line with Philip Doodoo’s lawyer, Seamus Quigley, he was struggling a ‘psychological well being episode’ on the day of the incident.

He mentioned Doodoo regretted what occurred and apologised for his actions and was conscious that the courts wouldn’t tolerate ‘hospitals being was warfare ones.’

District Decide Barney McElholm mentioned that hopefully the defendant had discovered his lesson and imposed a sentence of two months in jail.
