The North East Improvement Fee (NEDC) on Saturday donated meals and non-food gadgets to individuals affected by flood catastrophe in Adamawa.

NEDC’s Managing Director, Mohammed Goni, said this whereas presenting the gadgets to the Secretary to the State Authorities, Bashir Ahmad, in Yola.

He mentioned the gadgets are a part of fulfilment of a promise made over the last humanitarian summit in Maiduguri to “help all of the states within the North East, to cushion the results of hardship within the area.”

He mentioned the fee’s donation was based mostly on a directive of the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Catastrophe Administration and Social Improvement, Sadiya Umar-Farouq.
