The person behind a number of the Swap’s greatest music tracks, Yasuaki Iwata, has introduced that he has left his function at Nintendo.

The composer took to Twitter to share that he truly stepped again from the place in July 2023, although that is the primary time he has publicly acknowledged it.

In his message, Iwata expressed his “heartfelt gratitude” to everybody who has supported his work. He additionally confirmed that he has been engaged on a number of different initiatives over the previous 12 months, which he hopes to share “within the close to future”.

I’ve a little bit of a belated announcement to share.
In July of final 12 months, I took a step in a brand new route by leaving my place at Nintendo.
I want to specific my heartfelt gratitude to everybody who supported me through the years, to those that loved my work, and to everybody who listened to the music by way of the initiatives I used to be part of.
I’ve been engaged on new initiatives since my departure, and I hope to have the chance to share a few of these with you within the close to future. If there are those that want to proceed following my journey, I’d be actually grateful, and I hope you look ahead to what’s to return.

Iwata began his tenure at Nintendo by engaged on the Tremendous Mario 3D World soundtrack in 2013.
