YOUR ANGEL — the venture of LA-based singer, songwriter and producer Maddy Boyd — declares her sophomore album, A Star within the Headlights, out on March seventeenth.
The 11-track album consists of latest singles “You Never Say Sorry” and “Misbehave,” the latter of which was met with reward from NYLON, Consequence, and Ones To Watch. Teeming with uncooked emotion and ethereal indie-pop soundscapes, A Star within the Headlights captures a time of contemplation and transformation for YOUR ANGEL.
She provides, “‘A Star In The Headlights’ is about eager for one thing and the journey I took to reach there. It explores emotions of inadequacy, loneliness, jealousy and weak point. I drew inspiration from artists like Britney Spears, Dido, Portishead, Timbaland and Seaside Home with a purpose to create an album that embodies my childhood function fashions.”
YOUR ANGEL will launch the ultimate pre-release single, “Good Lady,” on February seventeenth and the album will observe on March seventeenth.
