Why Peter Obi failed to indicate up at Abuja’s presidential debate – Marketing campaign group

The Obi-Datti Marketing campaign, below the Labour Social gathering, on Sunday blamed the absence of its Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, on the presidential debate on plane’s technical challenges.

Mr Diran Onifade, Head of Media, Obi-Datti Marketing campaign Council, stated this in a press release whereas explaining Obi’s absence on the presidential debate organised by Nigerian Elections Debate Group (NEDG) in Abuja.

“The Obi-Datti Marketing campaign hereby states that our candidate, Mr Peter Obi, was unable to attend the talk programme following the recommendation of the technical crew of the plane he was travelling in.

“After an engagement in Akure, Ondo State, he meant to move for Abuja for the talk however was suggested in any other case resulting from technical points with the plane which made the Pilot resolve to move for Lagos as an alternative.
