The carrier, in a statement, said Emirates will be completely suspending its flights between Nigeria and Dubai until the Civil Aviation Authorities from both countries find a solution to the current ongoing issue.

Emirates has said it will continue to monitor the current situation with the US-Iran attacks and will develop its operational schedule accordingly.

This is as the airline announced that it has resumed its Dubai-Lagos operations
one week after it suspended operations globally following the airspace closures in the Middle East due to the US and Israeli strikes on Iran.

The US President Donald Trump described the attacks as a “major combat operation”, forcing airlines to reroute services that would normally cross the region.

In the airline’s latest statement, it stated that passengers can check the flight schedule for upcoming flights, as well as book seats to travel.

“Customers are advised to review the latest operational updates on emirates.com, and check their email for any notifications about changes or cancellations to their flights before travelling to the airport.

“Customers booked to travel between 28 February until and including 31 March have these options:
Rebook on an alternate flight. You can rebook on another flight to your intended destination for travel on or before 30 April.

“If you booked your flight with a travel agent, you must contact them. If you booked with us directly, contact us.
Request for refund. You can request for a refund of your ticket by completing the refund form if you booked with us directly,” the airline announced.

The Gulf carrier also stated that passengers who booked their flights with a travel agent, can contact them.
