Feb. 25 (UPI) — Washington Commanders defensive sort out Jonathan Allen sought permission to hunt a commerce, a league supply advised UPI on Tuesday.

Allen, 30, signed a four-year, $72 million cope with the Commanders in 2021.

The 2-time Professional Bowl choice totaled 19 mixed tackles and three sacks over eight video games final season. He missed 9 video games due to a torn left pectoral muscle.

The Commanders can save $16.3 Million in wage cap house if Allen is traded or launched earlier than June 1.

Allen, the No. 17 total decide by the Commanders within the 2017 NFL Draft, totaled 42 sacks over 109 video games for the franchise.
