US broadcasts sanctions in opposition to Guinea’s former chief

United States authorities introduced on Friday they’re imposing sanctions in opposition to Guinea’s former chief Alpha Condé.

The sanctions are associated to violence in opposition to opponents earlier than being ousted in a coup in 2021.

The previous Guinean chief may have his US belongings frozen. All transactions involving Alpha Condé will even be criminalized.
