Could 24 (UPI) — Jafar Panahi’s Un Easy Accident received the Palme d’or on the Cannes Movie Pageant on Saturday.

Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Worth scored the Grand Prix, whereas Kieber Mendonca Filho received the Greatest Director trophy and Wagner Moura picked up the award for Greatest Actor for The Secret Agent.

Nadia Melliti earned the Greatest Actress prize for La Petitie Derniere and the Greatest Screenplay title went to Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Luc Dardenne for Jeunes Meres.

Selection mentioned there was a five-hour energy outage throughout the South of France that was resolved shortly earlier than the awards had been introduced t the pageant’s closing ceremony.
