Troops of Operation Forest Sanity on Friday eradicated eight bandits and rescued 4 kidnapped victims throughout clearance operation at bandits’ camps in Zamfara forest.

In an announcement, the Director, Defence Media Operations, Musa Danmadami, mentioned the camps had been positioned at Dutse Uku forest in Lanke and Danmarke villages in Gummi LGA of Zamfara.

Mr Danmadami mentioned the troops, whereas on patrol, engaged the terrorists in a fireplace struggle, neutralising eight whereas others scampered for security with gunshot wounds.
