Tommy Money, a rustic singer and the youthful brother of Johnny Money, has died. He was 84.
The information of Tommy’s passing was confirmed on Saturday (Sept. 14) in a social media publish by the Johnny Money Museum in Nashville.
“We’re saddened to announce that the world misplaced a shiny mild final night with the passing of Tommy Money,” reads a press release on Instagram from Icon Leisure CEO Invoice Miller, who based the museum.
A reason for dying was not offered at press time.
Tommy died on Friday, simply in the future after the twenty first anniversary of late nation music icon Jonny Money, who handed away on Sept. 12, 2003, from issues of diabetes.
“Tommy Money was a loyal supporter of the Johnny Money Museum and a really beloved member of our prolonged household in addition to a extremely revered member of the music business,” Miller added. “This nice man can be deeply missed by his buddies and plenty of loyal followers around the globe. Tommy was born in Dyess, Ark., on April 5, 1940. Following the creative path of his older brother, Tommy enlisted within the U.S. Military and labored as a radio DJ for the Armed Forces, and later carried out as a musician with Hank Williams Jr.‘s band.
