Tinubu names Adeyeye, Chairman NPA Board, Dantsoho, MD

President Bola Tinubu has accepted the appointment of Adebayo Adeyeye as Chairman of Board of Administrators of Nigeria Ports Authority NPA and Abubakar Dantsoho because the Managing Director.

Ajuri Ngelale, Particular Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, in an announcement on Friday, stated Dantsoho holds a Doctorate diploma in Maritime Expertise from Liverpool John Moores College, United Kingdom, and a Grasp’s diploma in Worldwide Transport from Cardiff College of Wales, United Kingdom.

Earlier than his appointment, Dantsoho had served in varied capacities within the Nigerian Ports Authority as Assistant Normal Supervisor; Technical Assistant to the Managing Director; Port Supervisor, Onne Port; and Principal Supervisor, Tariff & Billing.

However, Adeyeye, the Board Chairman, is a seasoned lawyer, journalist, and politician.

Adeyeye had beforehand served as Minister of State for Works and former Senator representing Ekiti South Senatorial District.

The assertion stated the President expects the brand new management of this pivotal company to deploy excellence within the discharge of their duties to allow environment friendly port providers and improved business outcomes.
