This month Apple CEO Tim Cook dinner took to Twitter to verify that Apple does use Sony picture sensors in its iPhones.

“We have been partnering with Sony for over a decade to create the world’s main digicam sensors for iPhone,” Cook dinner tweeted out, together with a picture of him taking a look at an iPhone.

This admission from Cook dinner is uncommon for Apple, as the corporate is thought for being very secretive about the kind of parts that powers its smartphones.
