Oki was suspended on Monday after the LSFA board members voted towards him
One of many members of the Lagos State Soccer Affiliation has proven assist for the suspended FA Chairman Fouad Oki regardless of his suspension, Soccernet reviews.
Oki was seen in a latest social media video making an attempt to harass the vice-chairman of the LSFA Liameed Gafar after the latter accused him of oppression. Nonetheless, the chairman didn’t take it flippantly, as Mr. Gafar accused him of bodily assault.
Following his chants of “It’s over, it’s over sir, we are able to’t take this anymore, Chairman you slapped me and punched me in my throat, I’ll take something for soccer and I’m taking this once more for soccer .. that is our future, that is our life.. the oppression is over sir, the board has suspended you unanimously,” Mr Oki approached him to slap him.
Oki has now been suspended from the LSFA board after 5 of 9 members voted for him.
Nonetheless, an unnamed member of the board who’s Oki’s supporter denies that Oki slapped Gafar.
“Nothing of such occurred, there was no bodily assault on the board assembly,” he advised NigeriaFootball.ng per Premium Times.
“No one slapped anybody on the assembly. A movement was moved and it wasn’t seconded, as we converse, all of the board members are with the chairman. There’s no trigger for alarm as a result of no violence was recorded on the assembly.”
Regardless of Oki’s suspension, it seems extra drama will unfold within the coming days.
