Tremendous Eagles start coaching in Uyo as Boniface, Onyedika swell Nigeria camp for South Africa, Benin

Nigeria’s Tremendous Eagles held their first coaching session in Uyo forward of their World Cup qualifiers towards South Africa and Benin, Soccernet.ng reviews.

The session passed off on the Nest of Champions coaching pitch, the place head coach Finidi George and his assistants guided the 13 gamers who’ve arrived to this point.

Bayer Leverkusen ahead Victor Boniface and Membership Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika joined the camp early on Sunday morning, bringing the whole to 13 gamers.

Nigeria will play South Africa’s Bafana Bafana on the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday, June 7, adopted by a match towards Benin Republic in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on Monday, June 10.

Nigeria are at the moment third in Group C with two factors from two matches, trailing leaders Rwanda by two factors and South Africa by one. The group winner after ten matches will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
