Spotify encourages collaborations in African arts, music, culinary industries


























Spotify, a worldwide on-line streaming platform, has expressed its dedication to encourage collaborations within the African music, visible artwork and culinary sectors.

Victor Okpala, Spotify’s Artiste and Label Partnerships Supervisor for West Africa, throughout ‘#SpotifyMoments’, an artwork exhibition, in Lagos, mentioned such collaboration was essential to elevate the African music listening expertise.

He mentioned the occasion featured 35 artworks and a menu impressed by 5 completely different African playlists on Spotify, Alter-NATIVE, Naija Bars, Naija Visitors Jams, Scorching Hits Naija and African Warmth.

Okpala mentioned, “Throughout Africa, Spotify has been on the journey of intersecting music with different tradition components that elevate the music listening expertise.

“Nigeria’s modern artwork scene is gaining international recognition identical to its music, and we’re dedicated to making a platform for collaborations between music, artwork and different cultural components that may convey Nigerian music to life.”

Based on him, the artworks on show from younger skills within the Nigerian artwork panorama are from Chinaza Nkemka, James Adebayo, Chijioke Anyacho, Kenter Kachina, Odinakachi Okoroafor, Abigail ‘Esoterica’ Oghene and Sotonye Jumbo.
