The Requirements Organisation of Nigeria confiscated faux electrical cables and wires price N30.5m throughout the raid of some main markets on Tuesday in Ekiti State.
The SON mentioned it carried out the raid after an intelligence report revealed that some market distributors had been dealing in substandard cables.

The SON Inspectorate and Compliance Division director, Pius Manji, represented by Engineer Joel Aboyeji, mentioned the raid was carried out to sanitise the markets of substandard cables and wires and forestall them from going into circulation.
