Afrigather Al-Shabaab carried out an assault early on Saturday morning within the Hiran area in central Somalia, which brought about heavy losses.
The ambush focused vans carrying meals help and civilians heading to drought-hit areas within the area, based on the native officers.
The assaults resulted within the lack of 17 individuals who had been touring within the automobiles driving on Mahas-Beledweyne street.
The convoy left on Friday from Baladweyne, the capital of Hiraan Area, to Mahaas District, which is 160 KM away.
