Beijing-based Sol-Shiny Expertise, the world’s largest provider of automated robotic cleansing programs (ARCS) for photo voltaic panels, has launched its Gen.6 Robotic for utility-scale photo voltaic initiatives in India.
The Gen.6 ARCS contains a light-weight design, an aluminum body to attenuate corrosion, and curvilinear physique to face up to excessive winds.
“The robotic makes use of gear transmission, not like the chain and sprocket mechanism used conventionally. It gives 4 completely different ranges of safety. Cleansing effectivity is greater than 99.5%. Availability can also be greater than 99%,” Kumar Shailendra, nation head for Sol-Shiny Applied sciences India, advised pv journal. “So, in case you have purchased 100 robots, out of 100 just one robotic will go beneath breakdown at one level of time.”
Shailendra mentioned Sol-Shiny Expertise has shipped photo voltaic panel cleansing robots for round 17 GW of PV initiatives world wide.
The robotic makes use of a curler brush rotating at a velocity of 130±10 rpm to dry-clean the panels. The Gen.6 ARCS measures 2,500 mm x 418 mm x 238 mm.
“The robotic can deal with land undulations as much as 15 levels,” mentioned Shailendra. “The torsional construction permits it to twist from zero to forty levels whereas strolling.”
