The Bollywood tune turned controversial after JioCinema shared a brief clip of the music video on January 7. Lyricist and poet Manoj Muntashir, who had written the Maaye tune, expressed his displeasure as his identify was not talked about within the clip although Bagchi and singer B Praak’s names had been there.
