Seven-year-old Johandré Blom is preventing for his life in ICU after a crocodile attacked him close to Brits, ripping off his arm whereas he was taking part in in shallow water.
Based on the Pretoria Rekord web site, Johandré and a buddy have been on a household fishing journey on the Emanzini Resort at Roodekoppies Dam final Friday afternoon.
Roodekoppies Dam is a concrete gravity sort dam situated on the Crocodile River close to Brits within the North West.
It was established in 1986 and serves primarily for irrigation functions and home and industrial use.

The boys have been taking part in just a few metres from the place their fathers have been fishing when a crocodile grabbed Johandré.

After being spun round by the crocodile, Corné managed to tug Johandré free, however his left arm had been ripped off.
