Senator Abdul Ningi resumes plenary after three-month suspension

On Tuesday, the Senator representing Bauchi North Senatorial District, Senator Abdul Ningi, returned to plenary periods following a three-month suspension.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, subsequently introduced Ningi’s unconditional recall after pleas from some lawmakers.

Ningi’s suspension stemmed from a controversial interview the place he alleged discrepancies within the 2024 finances, claiming the Nationwide Meeting authorized N25tn whereas the Presidency carried out N28.7tn.
