It is not ok anywhere in the world to tell anyone in a formal meeting or hearing to shut up! There are rules of order to be followed and directing your anger or frustration at another attendee instead of the Chair is out of order. Unfortunately, the Chair did not do enough to control the hearing. I am surprised that none of the interviewers so far has asked Madam Oby if she regretted her choice of words.

Anyone that goes back to that video will agree with me that a personality of Oby Ezekwesili cannot come into such meeting and just tell someone ,whether man or woman to shut up if the person didn’t say anything that brought about it. Watch it and see the face of the man while talking to Oby Ezekwesili and when Oby said “shut up” but what happened yesterday in that senator shows you the kind of men that are there and what the women there go through. Senator Natasha said to Brekete family that she’s been through a lot even before that incidence. Now, imagine what she’s been through.

Pls don't brush your mannerless approach in talking to another man (head of another family), and also a sitting senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the card of 'they don't respect women'. You are first and foremost mannerless and disrespectful telling him to shut up. Deal with that problem of yours first before coming out to public to play any dirty gender card. You are truly what he calls you! I taught they said you are a person of reputation? Have you ever seen Madam Okonje making such mannerless statement? Pls enough of all this attention seeking card.
