The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the killing of a 40-year-old man,  Mohammed Badmus, by a safety guard within the Okinni space of the state.

That is contained in an announcement by the Public Relations Officer of the command, Yemisi Opalola, on Saturday in Osogbo.

Ms Opalola stated the safety guard shot the sufferer with a Dane gun, and he died immediately.

She stated the case was reported on the Dada Property Divisional Police Headquarters by Babatunde Olumide, the chairman of Ibuowo Property in Okinni.

The police spokesperson stated the suspect had been arrested and the gun recovered from him, including that the sufferer’s physique had been deposited at a mortuary.

She stated that the case had been transferred to the State Prison Investigation Division for additional investigations.
