A former Chairman of Emohua Native Authorities Space of Rivers State, Chukwuemeka Woke, has condemned Governor Siminalayi Fubara over a latest remark he made regarding initiatives within the state.
Naija Information understands that Fubara, throughout a launch of initiatives in Ahoada and Etche, had mocked some initiatives constructed by his predecessors.
Reacting through an announcement on Friday, Woke, who can be the Director Basic of the Nationwide Oil Spill Detection and Response Company (NOSDRA) slammed Fubara for tagging a street constructed in Omuma Native Authorities Space, as a “Farm Street that results in nowhere.”
He fumed that the Governor’s remarks had been troubling.
“How are you going to belittle important infrastructure that connects farmers to markets, whereas concurrently promising new contracts for street initiatives to help transportation? That is hypocrisy draped in ignorance,” he stated.
Woke stated, “To ridicule Wike’s work, particularly when it gives substantial advantages to the neighborhood, isn’t just factually incorrect however disingenuous.
“If something, it reveals a failure to acknowledge the foundations laid earlier than you.
“To even give a considered not executing any challenge in Wike’s neighborhood, if he had been a foul individual, speaks volumes of the governor’s insidious nature that needs to be worrisome to the general public, notably those that barely know him.
