4 residents have drowned whereas fleeing from bandits assault in Gurmana group, Shiroro Native Authorities Space of Niger State.
Residents of the group normally take a canoe to an island to cover from bandits who often assault the world.
The bandits have been mentioned to have killed three individuals on Wednesday night time, June 5, 2024, rustled cattle, and kidnapped scores in Bassa close to Gurmana.
It was gathered that some residents fled to the island that night time. The victims have been mentioned to be returning residence on Thursday when their boat capsized.
