Regina Corridor discusses probably reprising her function as Brenda within the Scary Film franchise because the movie collection is ready for a reboot.
Talking with TV Insider, the 53-year-old shared her ideas on the satirical thrillers making a comeback.
“Anna [Faris] is nice,” she detailed to the outlet after being knowledgeable that earlier this 12 months her costar elaborated that she would solely return together with her scene companion.
Corridor continued, “I’m simply very excited to know that the Wayans, who really began the challenge out of their thought, are again on board and on the helm once more. I’m excited for them. We’ll see if Brenda is on this new world. I’m thrilled on the risk that the band might get again collectively once more. That will be enjoyable.”

Faris spoke to an April 2024 announcement from Paramount of plans to work with producer Neal H. Moritz to reboot the comedic horror franchise. On the time, manufacturing was set for later this fall with a purpose of a theatrical debut subsequent spring via the studio’s first-look partnership with Miramax.
It was not till final month that Marlon, Shawn, and Keenen Ivory Wayans confirmed their participation within the revival. Keenen Ivory Wayans directed the primary Scary Film movie launched in 2000, co-written by his aforementioned brothers. The challenge is now scheduled to shoot in 2025, with a launch via Miramax and Paramount.
“Final week, I stated I had a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT to make. Effectively, right here it’s… WE’RE BACK!!! After almost 20 years, the Wayans brothers are lastly going to offer the followers what they’ve been asking for…a return to the SCARY MOVIE franchise! We’re wanting ahead to having enjoyable on the large display once more,” wrote Marlon on Instagram.
