The police in Bauchi State have arrested 4 suspected kidnappers within the state. The command additionally stated it arrested three individuals suspected of printing and circulating pretend naira notes.

Mr Wakil stated the 4 suspected kidnappers, all of Zadawa village, Misau Native Authorities Space, had threatened to kidnap their goal if he failed to present them N1 million.

“The suspects arrested are Ilu Wakili, 30, Abubakar Bello, 30, Muhammed Bello, 37, and Hussaini Abdullahi, 38, all of Zadawa village, Misau LGA of Bauchi.

“The suspects confessed to the crime and they are going to be charged to court docket for prosecution,” he stated.

“The suspect revealed that he received the counterfeit notes from one Shehu Shagari, 42, of Inkil space of Bauchi who’s equally on the police facility for his involvement within the case. 

“Because the investigation continues, the stated Shehu Shagari indicted one Malam Yusuf of Durum village of Bauchi, now at giant, who’s believed to be the prime suspect,” Mr Wakil stated.
