The Kano State Police Command has arrested Tasiu Al’amin-Roba, a Senior Particular Assistant to Governor Abba Yusuf, and one Abdulkadir Muhammad for alleged diversion of the state’s palliatives.
The Commissioner of Police, Hussaini Gumel, informed the Information Company of Nigeria in an interview on Sunday, December 3, that the suspects have been arrested at a warehouse at Sharada with over 200 empty baggage.
The CP stated that the suspects have been reportedly repackaging the rice and maize on the warehouse within the space.
“We have now since commenced intensive investigation to learn the way many baggage of maize or rice have been repackaged and offered,” he stated.
Gumel added that the 2 suspects can be charged in court docket after the conclusion of discreet investigations.
