Plateau killings: FG orders humanitarian aid to affected communities

The Federal Authorities has condoled with the households of the victims of the latest attacks in Plateau and ordered the speedy launch of humanitarian aid to the affected communities.

That is contained in an announcement issued by the Minister of Data and Nationwide Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, on Wednesday in Abuja.

“The Federal Authorities of Nigeria strongly condemns the latest killings in Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Native Authorities Areas of Plateau State.

“We wish to reiterate the dedication of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administration to securing each inch of Nigerian territory and guaranteeing that every one types of criminality by terrorists, bandits and militants are tackled boldly and decisively.

“President Tinubu has directed the safety companies to make sure that the perpetrators of those heinous killings are fished out and delivered to justice.

“The President has additionally directed the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and different related companies to work with the Plateau State Authorities to ship speedy humanitarian aid to the affected communities,” Idris stated.

The Minister defined that the Federal Government acknowledged the deep pains being felt by all of the victims of those assaults and pledged to scale up collaboration with and help State Governments to make sure lasting peace and safety in Nigeria.
