Plateau assaults: Peter Obi donates N10m to victims

The presidential candidate of the Labour Social gathering within the 2023 presidential election, Mr. Peter Obi, has donated the sum of N10 million to the victims of the Christmas eve assaults in Bokkos and Barkin Ladi native authorities areas of Plateau State.

Obi introduced the donation when he visited the Internally Displaced Individuals’ (IDPs’) camp in Bokkos LGA on Saturday.

Whereas addressing the victims on the Church of Christ in Nation (COCIN) Bokkos, Obi mentioned, “I’m saddened visiting Plateau once more to condole folks affected by assaults by gunmen.

“Folks have been rendered homeless for no fault of theirs. These victims have misplaced their family members, misplaced their bread winners and all that they’ve.

“The humanitarian challenges occasioned by these assaults are so big to be left for the federal government alone. And so, I’m not simply right here to supply them my token, however to mobilise different Nigerians and company organisations to come back to the help of these victims.
